MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 Review and Swatch

Lady Gaga's newest collaboration with MAC is very different from her first. Instead of a bright bubble gum pink, Gaga and Viva Glam have decided to go for a softer more neutral nude. This is an amplified finish which means it applies very opaque and rich.

What do I think? I love the way it looks in the tube, but I feel it blends too much with my skin. I need a gloss or something to add a bit more dimension or else it just looks too blah. I do love that she has her signature on the tube like her first. I feel that this nude would be great for people with skin tones that are darker than NC30 and lighter than NC20. In fact it would probably look stunning.

Did any of you lovely ladies pick this shade out? If so what do you think? Let me know! I hope all of you have been well. I know I haven't been posting much but I'll have a quick review of the CoverGirl Lip Perfection lipsticks tomorrow!

  1. Everybody including MAC MUA is saying it looks better topped with a lipgloss. I just got mine over the weekend and loved it with my lipgloss (not GAGA) on top but i still gotta play with it!

  5. It looks so pretty in the tube, but not on me. You said it right sister! "blah", my thoughts exactly. I'm still happy with Peachstock and my others so I didn't get this one. It would probably look good with Revlon's Pink Pop though!

  6. It's a nice shade, you make the lipstick look good.

We're planning for a possible shutdown of the Smithsonian next Friday--courtesy of Congress. It's taking so much planning I almost (almost) hope it happens so all the work isn't for nothing--plus I'd get time off! =)

We just finished my wife's birthday week, so I can relax a little until our anniversary in May. LOL!

    How's life treating you lately?

  7. I'll have to see what it looks like in person, but judging from I've seen online I *need* this one. :)
