A Review: Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Colors

Before I start my review, a many thanks to those of you who answered my question about which direction/path I should take this blog. It means so much! You guys are right, a little bit of variety makes it the least boring for everyone. ^__^ Again, many thanks.

Ok, now on to the review. Today I will be reviewing the Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Colors. According to the site these lipsticks not only "take center stage" but:

This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E help smooth lips.
(Take from Wet n Wild website)

Sounds all fancy right? Basically what Wet n Wild is telling us that their newer formulated lipstick is better and much improved compared to what they used to have. Do I agree? Yes I do. In fact, these lipsticks are very well made. You can find these in drugstores ranging from 2.99-3.99 USD. I found these at Rite Aid where they were having a BOGO half off. I found mine for $2.99.
Look who came out of his Camphor Tree! He kept me company while I taking pictures =^_^=
He's curious about what these are.
I like these a lot, especially with the price, it's amazing how easily these lipsticks go on the lips. The pigmentation is "like whoa!" One suggestion I have when using these lipsticks is lip balm. I feel it's essential! It will go on more smoothly if there is a balm base and the colors won't sink into your lip lines as much. The variety of colors is also a plus. They have all different shades so I think everyone should be able to find a color(s) that suit their skin tone. Another plus? No scent!!
These were swatched on my inner arm with only three swipes.
Now even though I like these a lot, there are some things that make me go -__-. The first thing is their packaging. Oh my Buddha it drives me nuts. I hate when I purchase lipsticks that don't swivel all the way down. I always end up nicking them on the caps. Another thing you must be careful about when you purchase these lipsticks is the fact that the packaging is at times poorly put together. I picked one up and flipped it over to look at the color and the lipstick fell from it's place in the tube onto the cap. Needless to say I put that one back. The last gripe I have is that these damn lipstick names are only on the wrapper. When you peel that off all you have left is a number like 903B. Couldn't Wet n Wild have just put the name along with the number on the bottom sticker?

So which are my favorites? It would have to be Bare it All, Just Peachy, and Rose Bud. I do like Mauve Outta Here but it seems similar to another lip color I have. Think Pink is such a pretty color, but this one sinks into the lines of my lips really bad. I need to wear some sort of gloss over it to smooth it out.

On to the Lip Swatches!
Hope this helps you guys with picking out some colors! Also hope you enjoyed with review and my little companion (aka Totoro) =^_^=

I need help

My blogger friends!

It seems that I have come to some sort of a rut with this blog. I have been sitting here trying to think of different things to write about and my mind is currently drawing a blank.

I don't want you guys to get bombarded with the same things all over again or with products that you see everywhere. So this is where I need you help.

What do you guys want to see? What do you like to read about? Do you like hauls? Do you want me to do more product reviews? Outfits of the day? Face of the day? Or even tutorials via blog?

I would really appreciate it if you let me know! ^____^ I want to try and improve on my blog and never be stagnant.

Thank you!

Maybelline ColorSensational "The Pearl" Lipsticks and Swatches

Maybelline has introduced a new line of "pearl" colors for their ColorSensational Line. These colors are more of your shimmery iridescent shades, hence why it's called the "The Pearl" Line. I picked two colors out of the line, after I stood in the drugstore and agonized which ones to get. (The indecisiveness in me).

The formula isn't much different from the regular ColorSensational line. You definitely have to smell them before you buy or else you can end up with a terrible smelling plastic-y Play-Doh tube of doom. Thank God all the ones at my drugstore had the same coconut smell all of my others have ^^. I wore both colors and would probably have to say that my favorite is the Coral Gleam. I do love both, but I find myself reaching for that one more. I love the way that it makes my lips look full and glossy. Pearly Pink is very shimmery, so if you're not into that then it's a No-No color for you.
As the color fades from your lips, it does leave the shimmer/glitter behind. I found myself with no lipstick left on my lips but they were still sparkly. It was actually kinda hard for me to remove them from my lips with just a tissue. Anywho, here are the lip swatches!

Have you ladies tried these? Do you like them? Let me know what your opinions are!

May Favorites!

Here are my favorites of May:
1-My Totoro makeup bag. I am an avid Hayao Miyazaki fan and bought this from a Japanese bookstore in the city and I absolutely love it! It fits a ton of stuff but is still compact enough for me to fit in most of my purses.

2-O.P.I.'s Lincoln Park After Dark. Love, love, love this color. It's almost black but in the light it reflects a deep purple. I know it's getting towards summer but I kinda like the vampy look of dark nails still.

3-NARS Orgasm Blush-my simple everyday blush. I feel it makes my cheekbones pop. You guys know all about blush so I won't go too much into it.

4-Goody Spin Pins-It has been ridiculously hot lately and I hate the feel of my hair on my neck when I'm all sweaty. It's gross. I throw these pins in my purse and when I can't bear having my hair down, I twist my hair into a bun and use these babies. Two is all you need!

5-The Face Shop Span Primer-This stuff is awesome! A fellow blogger recommended it and instant love. I only need a little and it smooths my face and preps it right before my foundation application.

6-Revlon PhotoReady Foundation-I still love this foundation. It has been my everyday foundation as of late. The only thing that sucks is that the 005 Natural Beige is a little darker and the 004 Nude is a bit too light. My solution? Mix these two babies together and get my color! I love the dewy look it gives me. The pump is also fantastic!
(This is me with the foundation and primer on)
7-EOS Lipbalm in Summer Fruit-I use this lip balm everyday when I get ready. I found that it smoothes my lips really well and it's all natural. Can't beat that in my book.

8-Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach-This Coral color is awesome! I love this for an everyday look. Of course I have a swatch for you guys!

9-Urban Decay's Pocket Rocket Lipgloss in Max-A milky pink nude. It's a cream gloss and it's probably my favorite out of all the Pocket Rocket glosses. Fills my lines and doesn't look streaky. I have a swatch of this too! ~__^
Wooooo, two posts in one day!! Hope you guys have a great weekend! <3

NYC Blushable Creme Sticks (Deal Alert!)

Here I present to you the limited edition N.Y.C. (New York Color) Blushable Creme Sticks. They run retail at drugstores for $3.99 USD and are a real steal especially if you a creme blush fanatic! I found these sticks way back in April and I think that there are still drugstores that are selling them, so snatch these up before they're gone! I went to N.Y.C.'s website and they're no longer listed there to buy so I'm guessing your only option if you want these is the drugstore.

These blushes have pretty good staying power considering that they are creme blushes. I have tried some and they seem to melt off my face, but these are pretty decent.  If you buy these blushes and find that the staying power isn't fantastic for you, you can always apply a powder blush on top to set it. Just like with foundations you can set your creme blush.  I also like the fact that these can be easily blended with your fingers to give you a nice flush. Also, a little goes a long way, or else you end up looking like a clown. For the price, there is a ton of product as well (0.28oz/8.0g.) Again, if you are a bargain hunter but still quality items I think this is definitely an item you should look into. I know that Stila creme blushes run for about $25.00 USD and Tarte's blush sticks are $30.00 USD. A big difference! If you aren't a bargain hunter but just like to experiment with makeup and don't want to dish out the dough I think this should be in your collection.

I swatched these in the order of the picture from above. I thought it was odd that Urban Spice was lighter than Berry New Yorker but yeh.
My no flash pictures are horrible. I think it's because of my lighting in my living room. I think that is what gives off the yellowness, but I figured I post a picture of it as well.

My favorites would have to be Berry New Yorker and Plaza Pink. I think Plaza Pink would be a great highlighter for people who have darker complexions. Well, in actuality, I like all the colors I bought haha.

Have you girls tried these? Let me know what you think of them!
