Alice and Love Package!
Look what I got in the mail today!
Yup I got me the Urban Decay Alice In Wonderland Book of Shadows! I know that many of the colors are just renamed. For instance Oil Slick is Jabberwocky but it really didn't matter to me because I really wanted this palette due to my love for Disney and of course makeup! Not only does this palette come with 16 shadows it comes with two full sized Glide On eyeliners and a small Urban Decay Primer Potion. The price was $52.00 USD. I don't know if they have restocked on the site but when I ordered it last Friday it was sold out by the end of the day. Sephora and some other cosmetic retailers are going to have these in stock but I think that they will go pretty fast due to how popular Alice in Wonderland and Tim Burton are! Hurry and get them!
And here are the colors in this awesome palette
If you guys want swatches let me know!
I also got my package from Stephanie! (Julu Jewelry/Beauty and Gardens) We did a swap and not only did she send me the goodies she told me she would, she sent extra ones! Thanks babes!
Eyeshadows, candy, lip balm, and Almond gelatin! Thank you soo much Steph. I am so excited to try the Shisem's! I kinda like the way my eyes look when I have falsies on lately. I feel they open them up so much. I am already lemming the Sugar Lip gloss as well. It smells so good that I could eat it.
I know this was a quick post. If I don't update this weekend I hope all of your wonderful beautiful ladies have a great weekend!

Maybelline Eyestudio Quads
So these quads have been hitting Youtube by storm! I think I've seen quite a few Gurus talking about this. I was asked by Steph of Julu Jewelry/Beauty and Gardens to talk about these so this entry is for you babes!
These quads I am speaking about are the Maybelline Eyestudio Quads NOT the Maybelline Stylish Smokes Quads which has also been a favorite amongst bloggers and Youtube. I found mine at my local CVS for $9.99. Yes it is quite pricey compared to the Stylish Smokes which are priced at around $5.99 so if you're trying to save money I again would wait for a BoGo or a buy one and get half price. (Again I just want to say that these are just my opinions about the product )
So I picked up 3 of these quads because I'm a sucker for colors. The ones I picked I think are best suited for everyday smokey look.

Sorry about the terrible lighting. I am still working on my camera skills. =D. These quads don't have individual eyeshadow names so you don't have to worry about remembering too many names. =)
So what do I think about these quads? I think that they are ok. Not amazing but not terrible. I think with the price they have them at I would want something really great especially for a drugstore brand but I can't complain too much I guess. The colors are pretty pigmented especially when you pick them up with your finger. There is no problem picking the eyeshadow up with you brush. I have had some eyeshadows where I feel like I have to dip the brush in it several times for it to get remotely close to the color I want. One thing about this that makes me go "ehh" is that this is sparkly. All the shadows in the quads have some sort of shimmer and there is no matte shadows to counter it. The one that is super duper sparkly is the highlight color in the quads. Another thing that works against these quads is the blending factor. To me, it's easy to blend the colors away so don't take that blending brush and get too happy with it lol!
My favorite out of the three I've chose is probably Taupe Temptress. It looks really purple in the pan but I think the color comes out pretty neutral. Here are the swatches on my arm of each of the quads. See how pigmented it is?
Has anyone else tried these quads? I would love to know your opinion!
